Danny Eldridge is a software developer based in Los Angeles, CA. He also writes and produces music, which can be found on Spotify. He has created projects such as an interactive flight map, AirQ (an air quality dashboard), ClipboardHero (a Mac OS clipboard manager), Jeppy (a Jeopardy-inspired trivia game), ScrollHero (a Chrome extension), and a white noise generator. He is also tracking his learning about AI.

Stefan Abi-Karam is a Ph.D. student at Georgia Tech in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering under Prof. Cong (Callie) Hao as part of Sharc Lab. His Ph.D. work focuses on AI for hardware design and EDA, with a focus on FPGA and high-level synthesis (HLS) design flows. His research includes creating large-scale HLS/HDL datasets, benchmarking LLMs for hardware code generation, and integrating LLMs into HLS and FPGA design tools. He is also a full-time research faculty at Georgia Tech through Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) within the Cybersecurity, Information, Communication, Command and Control and Software Systems (CIPHER) lab division. He was awarded the inaugural LAD Fellowship to continue working on rapid design of domain-specific hardware accelerators using AI agents for HLS design.

Jesse Hoogland is an AI-safety researcher and co-founder of the Singular Learning Theory (SLT) for AI safety research agenda. This led to him co-founding and now directing Timaeus, a nonprofit research organization studying this agenda. Together with his team, he has scaled the organization from 3 to 16 staff and raised $3.5M+ in grants. In addition to co-authoring papers directly, he is an experienced communicator with 20+ talks at frontier AI labs and academic venues. He runs Timaeus, a nonprofit AI safety research organization working on singular learning theory (SLT) for alignment.

Chris Malek helps enterprises automate and integrate back office systems. He has over two decades of experience in PeopleSoft enterprise software projects. He writes about technology and other things that interest him outside his ERP consulting work on his personal blog. He studied Accounting at Florida State University and earned a master’s in Entertainment Industry Management at Carnegie Mellon University. He is a CPA licensed in California.

Paolo Gabriel is an engineer and scientist specializing in AI, machine learning, and brain-machine interfaces. He holds a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from UC San Diego, where he worked in the Translational Neuroengineering Lab. He also holds a BS in Engineering Physics from Stanford University. Currently, Paolo is a Senior Computer Vision Engineer on the AI team at LookDeep Health, where he designs computer vision pipelines, analyzes patient activity, and curates multi-modal datasets. He is interested in connecting people with their data.

Brady Salz, also known as b$, makes things that beep, buzz, transmit, receive, light up, dim down, rotate, translate, encode, and decode. He enjoys working with hardware. Brady lives in San Francisco, CA and previously worked on satellites at Astranis for 8 years. He has degrees from the University of Illinois and worked with the Integrated Circuits and Systems Group under Professor Pavan Hanumolu in grad school, where he made a chip and wrote a paper.
